I joined the NAACP Gwinnett County Branch in 2020, initially serving on the Political Action Committee, where I actively participated in voter registration, poll monitoring, and door-to-door canvassing. In 2021, I was elevated to Political Action Committee Chair and later assumed the role of 1st Vice President. That same year, I helped restart our Legal Redress Committee by recruiting volunteers from surrounding law schools in metro Atlanta.

In 2022, I directed what was, at the time, the largest Get Out the Vote (GOTV) campaign in our Branch’s history. My efforts in voter mobilization and civic engagement laid the foundation for even greater outreach in subsequent years.

In June 2024, I was appointed by the NAACP National Office to serve as President of the Gwinnett County Branch, and in November 2024, I was elected to continue in this role for a two-year term. During my brief tenure as President, I have led our Branch in organizing the largest GOTV campaign to date, expanding our impact across six counties.

Beyond electoral engagement, I have prioritized strengthening the Branch’s programming and advocacy efforts. I successfully revived both the Health Committee and the ACT-SO Committee. ACT-SO (Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological, and Scientific Olympics) empowers and uplifts youth by providing mentorship and opportunities to showcase their talents in STEM, humanities, performing arts, and entrepreneurship.
