Matthew Greene is the co-author of "Anthony’s Red Cape" and a passionate advocate for environmental justice. A junior at Savannah State University majoring in Environmental Science (Class of 2026), Matthew is an accomplished playwright with four original plays and a dedicated actor. He serves as a research assistant to two professors, contributing to critical studies on the impact of human encroachment on coastal ecosystems and communities—work he has presented at multiple academic conferences. Matthew is an active member of the STEM Volunteer Club, offering STEM-based service to the Savannah community, and he previously interned with the West Atlanta Watershed Alliance as an Environmental Educator.
