December 2012 I made history and the title is Former Homeless Vet Pays Community Members' Power Bills for Holidays,
this was on CNN which I was on live and the link https://www.cnn.com 2012/12/09, ABC NEWS with Diane Sawyers Beth Loyd
2012/12/06, other news agency's such as Huffington Post, YAHOO NEWS along with radio stations acknowledged me.
T.I. and Tiny gave me and here's the title "Giving like a king honors veteran. I also Blessed my community with over 350 free haircuts
as well as homeless and displaced veterans, I rented out three different barbershops for the holidays to let them know you're not forgotten.

Once word got out that I was nominated for this prestigious award, my IGcurtisbutlerthird followers sent much love and congratulation from
family and friends, veterans, celebrities and strangers. The following week my Kool & The Gang Family has been nominated for the Rock N Roll
Hall of Fame, so go to vote.rockhall.com to vote for us as many times as you like.

I think I became an honoree February 2024, I was shocked that a Black boy born in Charleston, South Carolina in the 60's and raised in Brooklyn, New York
who had a book that God told to write at 2:00 AM, which I didn't want to do. I thank God that HE didn't listen to me and by me being obedient. Different playwriter's
are looking at doing something with "A Warrior Married To His Wife And PTSD." By receiving this award, I pray that daytime and nighttime shows call me so that we can have
a serious conversation. Hopefully one day I get to speak with the President, Vice President and The Secretary of The VA to work on a new Bill eliminates over approximately
1 million displaced and homeless veterans, that if their disabilities rating is 0% to 40% they receive NO health care from the Veterans Administration Hospitals. Our HEROES and SHEROES has to have 50% -100% to be allowed healthcare benefits. BUT it's necessary to write a Bill for undocumented immigrants to receive housing, food, money and healthcare.
We need people in office who is about OUR FATHERS BUSINESS. STOP putting WARRIORS on the backburner. Our Veterans are:
