Hosts Karen Scott Greene and Catherine "Cat" Hardrick met on the campaign trail in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Karen was running for Gwinnett County Superior Court Judge and Cat was seeking office as a member of the Snellville City Council. The two met at a campaign event and soon realized that they had a lot in common and a lot to say. Their conversations would often last for hours as the two talked about everything from politics, education, community engagement and social empowerment. Along the way, they met some really great people. After their campaigns were over, they wanted to keep the conversations going. That is how the idea of Conversations with Karen and Cat was born.
